How we help you to find the right access solution

EMS Stairlifts Buying Process STEP 1

Understanding your needs

After contacting EMS Lifts one of our qualified and expert advisors will visit your home and assess your requirements. We’ll then discuss the options that best suit your needs, having regard to your disability and the shape and size of your staircase or access point. We will provide you with a firm written quotation on our first visit and let you take your time to go through it. If you wish, you have the opportunity to visit our extensive showroom to try out the equipment that has been recommended to you, before you commit to the purchase. As part of the EMS Lifts promise you can have complete confidence that none of our staff will use any sort of pressure selling techniques. We adhere strictly to the British Healthcare Trades Association Code of Practice, which is endorsed by the Trading Standards Institute.

Made to measure

When you are ready to confirm your order, we will arrange to carry out a detailed survey of your staircase or access point, this may not be necessary for some products. At this point you will have the opportunity to finalise any requirements and discuss any concerns you might have. Curved stairlifts and other access products will be manufactured to fit the exact dimensions of your staircase or access point, and the design will be fully explained to you.

Installing your stairlift or access solution

When your new equipment is available, we will contact you to arrange a convenient installation date. Our qualified engineers will install your access product leaving your home clean and tidy and will take away all the unwanted boxes and packaging.

Once installed our engineer will then explain, in detail, the safe use of the equipment and will stay until you can use it confidently and safely. They will also explain to other members of your family if you so wish.
