Job Title: Stairlift Engineer

Scope of the Job: Carry out routine service, repair, installation and maintenance work on various products both in-house and in the field as directed by the Service Coordinator.
Key Elements of the Job
  • Maintain a high level of Product knowledge to ensure an effective first time fix wherever possible.
  • Attend all training courses as from time to time arranged.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Company in all dealings with Clients or third parties.
  • To regularly check the company vehicle and ensure that it remains in a safe and roadworthy condition at all times.
  • To maintain and care for all Company Property, stock and spare parts issued.
  • To produce and submit detailed, legible and accurate reports regularly.
Authority & Responsibilities
  • Authority to order spare parts through the Parts Manager and to disable equipment where this is the only safe option.
  • Responsible for leaving all equipment worked on in a safe, clean and usable condition in line with best engineering practice wherever possible.
  • Responsible for ensuring all relevant paperwork and reports are submitted as early as possible to the Accounts Assistant
  • Responsible for ensuring all warranty parts are returned to the Parts Manager.
